This page discusses the weather service sites integrations to get weather data in Domoticz available.

===Weather services===
Several Weather Services (weather lookup) have been integrated so you can have your own local weather information without actually having physical local weather station equipment.

*[[Visual Crossing weather lookup|Visual Crossing]] (successor of [[Weather forecast from DarkSky in Domoticz|deprecated DarkSky/Forecast.io]]) available from Domoticz 2023.2
*AccuWeather (USA Orientated)

For most services you have to request an API key and you have to enter a location for which data has to be requested.

===General Setting up===
Go the specifi wiki page if available for detailed instructions.

*Get a API key on the weather service webpage (if needed)
*Prepare a location (GPS location, Station ID or City Name). Some Domoticz Weather hardware gateways also support the Domoticz location in menu Setup - Settings.
*Go to menu Setup -Hardware
*Select the required weather service in the hardware Type field.
*Fill in API key (if needed) and location.
*Klik on the ADD button.

After activating the weather service Domoticz will create weather devices (Temperature, Humidity, Barometer, Wind etc) and perhaps some extra like cloud coverage and visibility. Also Forecasts could be added.

===Forecast===
On the weather page and the temperature page there is a forecast button that leads to the weather forecast page.

The source depends on the weather service you have installed. Currently [[Open Weather Map]] an [[Visual Crossing weather lookup|Visual Crossing]] (default) support the forecast page.
